Terms of use

1. Scope and provider

These terms of use apply to Rigmint at rigmint.de (hereinafter “Rigmint”), a platform providing Squadfinder, gaming news, PC purchase guidance, hardware and software tools, and assembly guides. The provider is Heinrich Janzen, trading under the business name Sahle (contact details in the Legal notice). RigMint is a product name used by this business. By registering a user account you accept these terms. The additional information in section 11 applies to Rigmint Score.

2. Registration and minimum age

Registration is with an email address and a password of your choice. You are obliged to keep your password secret and to inform Rigmint immediately if you suspect misuse of your account. By registering you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Rigmint reserves the right to suspend accounts where there are justified doubts about the age statement. There is no entitlement to registration or continued use.

3. Scope of services

Rigmint provides free Squadfinder matching, gaming news, and web tools for PC component selection, compatibility checks, FPS estimates, benchmarks, purchase guidance and assembly. Features marked “in progress” or “Beta” may be limited or not yet available. Depending on their label, performance figures derive from published measurements or model estimates; they do not promise a particular result on your computer. Prices derive from retailer information with a check date or from labelled guide values. The sources, limitations and method notes for each feature apply; the relevant shop’s information applies to a purchase. Maintenance and faults can interrupt availability. Statutory rights concerning defects and liability remain unaffected.

4. User content (squad posts, profile data)

You are solely responsible for the content you publish (including squad posts, display name, note texts). In particular the following are not permitted: unlawful, insulting, discriminatory or harassing content, spam and self-promotion without permission, pretending false facts (e.g. fake profiles), and content that infringes third-party rights. Rigmint may remove content that breaches these rules without prior notice and may suspend accounts for repeated or serious breaches.

By publishing, you grant Rigmint a simple, non-exclusive, worldwide right to store, display and technically reproduce your content to the extent required to operate the platform. The right ends when you delete the content or have your account deleted, unless a statutory retention duty applies.

5. Notice and action procedure

Unlawful or rule-breaking content can be reported directly on the content via the report function. Reports are reviewed by us; we reserve the right to remove reported content, leave it unchanged or suspend the affected account. For pre-filtering we use a word filter and a three-stage warning model; decisions on suspensions and removals are made by a person, not by automated individual decision-making. 6. Affiliate links

Purchase links in the Performance Hub, including links to Amazon, may be affiliate links labelled as advertising. Rigmint may receive a commission for referred purchases, without adding a surcharge for you. The contract for linked goods is made with the relevant merchant; Rigmint does not sell these products. Section 7 governs liability for Rigmint’s own breaches of duty.

7. Liability

Rigmint accepts unlimited liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, culpably caused injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory statutory liability rules, including the German Product Liability Act. This also applies to an expressly assumed guarantee or fraudulently concealed defects. For ordinary negligence involving a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to the typical damage foreseeable when the contract was made. Material obligations are those necessary for the agreed use and on whose performance you can normally rely. Otherwise, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded. These provisions also apply to legal representatives and persons used to perform contractual obligations. Our own statutory duties concerning third-party content remain unaffected. Statutory rights concerning defective digital products remain intact and are not excluded by descriptions of the test scope.

8. Termination and account deletion

You can have your account deleted at any time without stating reasons (request to kontakt@rigmint.de). Rigmint may suspend or delete accounts for breaches of these terms of use with reasonable prior notice, and for serious breaches also without notice.

9. Changes to these terms

Rigmint may change these terms of use with effect for the future if this is necessary to adapt to changed law or new functions. Material changes will be announced on the platform.

10. Final provisions

German law applies. If individual provisions of these terms of use are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

11. Rigmint Score: test scope and reports

Rigmint Score is being developed as a separate technical preview for local used-PC checks. The expressly described features of each version determine its scope. The current preview records hardware information, available Windows and driver data, limited optional memory samples and manually entered observations. It does not provide a comprehensive load or long-term stability test.

A report documents only the collected data and stated checks at the recorded time. Untested areas and unavailable readings do not establish freedom from defects. Past mining use, hidden defects, remaining lifetime, ownership and the accuracy of sales listings are not established. A report is not an independently verified certificate and provides no additional guarantee for the inspected hardware.

Only inspect another person’s device with appropriate permission. Optional computation and memory tests place the stated load on the hardware. Stop the test and investigate unusual sounds, smells, visual artifacts or other concerns. Local reports can be changed. Anyone sharing a report must not misrepresent its scope, manual entries or known defects.

The current presentation of the technical preview is not a paid sales offer. Before any future purchase, the price, licence scope, delivery, system requirements, updates and consumer information will be stated expressly. Statutory rights concerning purchased digital products remain unaffected. Voluntary support does not by itself unlock a paid download.
